I just realized my 3ds model does not have materials in the first place! I mean when I open the model in 3ds max, it is already dark. I download it from other websites, it seems to have materials but when I open the model, it is all dark.. it somehow does not import materials when I open it

Hi bro, I did exactly like you, but it still didn't export materials to Sketchup. When I exported it to FBX file, it did export, but with the warning `Material export failed(4)`. Thus when I opened the model in Sketchup, it was all dark without any material. you got any solution for it, or have I missed anything about it? I would send you a screenshot if I could, but cant do here :(
