TRUMP LATEST NEWS: New video has surfaced showing the shooter on a rooftop moments before former President Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday.

The Department of Homeland Security's inspector general said it has opened an investigation into the Secret Service's handling of security. Investigators are looking into the handling of security for former President Donald Trump.

20-year-old shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to get within 135 meters of the stage where Trump was speaking when he opened fire.

Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle said the agency understands the importance of the review ordered by President Joe Biden and will participate in it as well with congressional committees looking into the shooting that happened in Pennsylvania.
