The most exciting thing were the plans to do a borderline campaign, with a VFA for mostly ground attack with Bugs, and a VF flying air supremacy with Cats.

9M and 7F/M loadouts with mostly dumb munitions and maybe some Paveway kits throughout the campaign would absolutely SLAP.

COLD WAR ERA IS THE BEST! THE MIG21 HAS A NUCLEAR WARHEAD MISSILE. AND THE VIGGEN CAN TAKE OUT ENTIRE FLEETS BY ITSELF. AND THEN THERE IS TOP GUN. AND MORNING VIETNAM. FRICKIN' AMAZING. THE FEELS OF THE 1950-80S IS UNMATCHABLE.
