Look i was in my early 20s when Blair Witch came out. Everyone talking about how scary it was...not to mention its "viral marketing" campaign.
So, being a lover of horror movies and hoping to find one that ACTUALLY scared me, i went to see it.

WHAT A SNOOZE FEST!!! **Smdh** IMHO its actually WORSE than the "Paranormal Activity" movies. Honestly it put me off "found footage" movies.

Honestly, i prefered the sequel "Blair Witch: Book of Shadows". I liked the premise, the storyline, the it scary? Not really, but i think it was a better story and a better way to tell a story than the original. Also, i liked the message in B.O.S. The line "Film lies....but video doesn't" is the key to the movie

Several years after watching "Blair Witch" i decided to give "found footage" a second chance....i kept hearing about the OG "found footage" movie "Cannibal Holocaust". It had all this hype and stuff about how extreme it was and that the director was put on trial for murder because people thought the actors were actually killed....now there are REAL animal deaths....but yet again i was MAJORLY DISAPPOINTED! Ive honestly pretty much given up on "found footage".
