OH MY GOD. I'M SO GLAD I CAME ACROSS THIS!!! A former colleague of mine at my old internship job was an immigrant Pakistani. Nice dude. Always made his own chapati and chicken curry to share with others. I HIS CURRY! Had been hounding him for the recipe but due to language barrier, never really pursued him that much. I've been searching for the curry ever since but it's sooo different from the regular curries I've tried. No wonder I couldn't find it! It's a kind of its own and with its own name!
