How to create a blog PHP and MySQL database #11 | User registration

In this video, we start implementing user registration for our blog application. We are going to put to use our reusable database function to create our user in the database. After creating the user, we'll use the selectOne function to fetch back that user so that we can log them in immediately in the next episode.

Hi Awa, absolutely love your videos! I followed your series on implementing the email verification registration/login first. Now combining it with this series is a bit tricky since some of the file names are different. I'm stuck at the point where you added the admin value as 0, (at 9:30 in the tutorial). I've tried adding it to the authController.php in the email series but it keeps saying Notice: Undefined index: admin on line 38. I've tried everything I can think of but still unable to get it to work. Can you please please help? I would appreciate that so much.

Hey Mel! Some advice if u can, please...How would you go about creating a website which can have only one admin (admin has create/edit/delete content permissions)? Example: a landing page which has a "blog" part, in this blog, only the owner of the landing page's business can post stuff. What im interested in is the admin part. Millions of questions, but ill just ask u this...should i hardcode owners login data (doesnt sound good, imagine he wants to change password or username, he would have to ask me)? If registration is for the public, who decides which users can be admin?.

Hello please I need your help, the registration, and login works perfectly on my localhost it creates and redirects to the destination page, but on my online server its creates but it does not redirect as well as my login it will show "login successful" at the top of my login form and doesn't redirect. the php version on my localhost and online servers is 7.2 so what could cause it not to redirect on my online server. Please i need your assistance. Thank you

I've been looking over my code, and can't find the solution to my problem. I am able to create a user. The id is always 0. When I try to create another user, I am not able to do so. If I delete, the current user, I can then create another user. Only after I delete the user from the MySQL database, can I add another. Any help is appreciated.
