IRONHEART: The Key Plot Detail Marvel CHANGED

After the character Riri Williams aka Ironheart debuted in the MCU in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, fans have been eager to see the character return. After Kevin Feige announced an Ironheart series back in December, 2020, we thought we would be seeing Ironheart’s return sooner rather than later. But with 2024 coming to a close, and still no Ironheart series available on streaming, you may be wondering what happened to this project. The "Iroheart and Blade what's going on issues" are just more reasons why they no longer tell us what's going on years down the line. They cannot guarantee anything like they thought they could before the pandemic. We still haven't got through their 2019 announcement roster.

My only question is.. why are they spending 6+ years building up the Young Avengers just to release a movie where the cast ends up in their early 30s. Just call it the middle aged Avengers at this point lol.

I hear what you're saying about Mephisto and I don't really need that either but I think what's being ignored is the obvious contrast between the grounded tech of Riri Williams and the mystical. Traditionally, this is what made Mandarin such a great Iron Man villain, the fact that his practical technology couldn't match the Mandarin's pure mystical power, 1-to-1, but that he could use his mind in clever ways to still find a way to win. I think they'll be going for a lot of the same here.

That's how the red hood gets his cape is thru mephisto in the comics. So that's how he fits.

Originally I thought the same as you about why would they mix the tech with the super natural. But as I think about it more. People in cgi suits fighting other people in cgi suites can be visually a bit bland. Science versus mysticism could offer more variety both visually as well as the challenges the heroes must face.

Pretty sure they think they’re going to give the story some depth by trying to come from the whole “ science vs magic” angle. They could surprise us. Hopefully they surprise us…

It's kinda crazy how long Marvel has been working on Ironheart… until I remember how many other unreleased projects they have announced, like Blade and Armor Wars.

Honestly, Marvel has some explaining to do and damage control. Iron heart, Blade, Black Panther franchise, Kang The Conqueror and his impact on the Multiverse that leads us up to Doom and Secret Wars, etc.

Very disappointed with all the letdowns Marvel has done.

I don't see a problem introducing mystical elements to a stim based character. Seeing someone overcome magic through their knowledge and application of mechanical engineering sounds dope to me.
