VANITY, 21, from Arizona, has given birth to three children by the tender age of 21 and has received a huge amount of online hate for being such a young mother of three. Vanity told Truly: "People think because I'm young, I'm a terrible mum to my three children - but they're wrong." When Vanity first fell pregnant aged 18, her family were shocked but remained incredibly supportive of the challenging path that she chose for herself. Vanity admits that she never thought she would go on to be a mum to three children at 21 and sometimes does wonder that she may be missing out on being young and carefree with her friends. She decided to take her story to social media and was hit with a torrent of negative comments that really affected her. Vanity said: "The judgement that I have from online trolls is really ridiculous; I 'should've got an abortion', she 'looks slow' and I 'need to call animal control'. It kinda broke my heart a little bit." Despite the hate that Vanity has received, she's happy with the choices she has made and plans to have more children in the future. She added: "To the people who criticized me online, it's not your life to live, we all have different paths and this is the path I chose to go down."

My mum fell pregnant at 17, married my dad and had 3 children by the time she was 20. She was an amazing mamma to us all and ended up having 5. My parents have been married for 54 years now. ♥️

Vanity's thought process is still very immature but she is lucky to have such a supportive mother. I hope she will try protect her children a little bit better than that.

21 is a very young age to be a mom, especially to 3 kids. However, those comments are absolutely terrible. Having babies is nothing to be ashamed of. Yes it may be ideal to wait until you are older, but it doesn't mean she's a bad person. I wish her and her children happy, healthy lives. ❤

They left a lot of information out of this story, her living situation, how she affords things, where is the father etc. I don’t think teens and young adults which 18-20 is barely an adult realize that parenting comes with a huge physical, emotional and financial responsibility. 17/18 even in 20’s should be enjoying their childhood and going to school or working towards their future. no way in hell anyone is going to tell me that a 21 year old can afford to live especially with 3 kids age 2 and under! There are grown adults that can’t even afford living expenses and that is with a college degree and a job especially with covid going on. I think because she grew up as one of ten her mother being young herself having 11 kids I don’t think she even thinks anything of having 3 kids at 21. Pregnancy is very preventable 18 or not I would have had a discussion with my child and the doctor after the first one or esp after the second one. Give yourself a chance to create a future for yourself before kids come in to play they didn’t have a choice coming into this world and they deserve everything! With that said, she does seem to be level headed in the way of she presents herself well and seems to care for her children.

For the ones saying she’s a great mom, being supportive is cool but she clearly needs guidance & words of wisdom, not encouragement. No, her life isn’t over but it’s going to be extremely challenging for her. Having children slows you down when you haven’t accomplished many things on your list such as school & traveling. That’s why it’s best to get a career established and do some traveling prior to having children.
