Maybe there was no crowd but I still jumped up from my couch yelling! Amazing achievement by Higgins but at the same time hats off to Maflin keeping his cool and ousting the wizard who had made it to the previous three finals. What a big moment for him!

In John Higgin's parish in Scotland the new priest (who knew nothing about snooker)was apparently introducing himself to his new parishioners and when he was introduced to John Higgins, he said "very nice and what do you do John?" When the reply came "professional snooker player", the priest then said "and are you good at it John?" You couldnt make it happens to be a four time World priest was obviously a
