EVERY SINGLE Clone Legion, Corps, Battalion And Company Explained [Star Wars Canon + Legends] PART 2

During the Clone Wars, The Grand Army of the Republic was vast, with around 3.2 million clone troopers being developed from the genetic template of bounty hunter Jango Fett. Tens of thousands of clone troopers were deployed during the1st Battle of Geonosis, to combat the Separatist Droid Army. The Galactic Senate gave Supreme Chancellor Palpatine authority over military affairs, as thousands of star systems joined the Separatist cause. The galaxy-wide conflict against the Separatists was fought from conflicts in the Outer Rim Territories, to the assault on the Republic’s Capital of Coruscant. The Grand Army of the Republic was comprised of many military groups and units, and in this video, we will be exploring all which have appeared throughout various movies, tv shows, games, comics, and books, from both canon and legends. The largest units that we will be looking at today, are the clone trooper Corps, which were made up of Four Legions of Clone troopers, totalling 36,864 soldiers. They were led by a Jedi General and a Clone Marshal Commander. Firstly, we have the 21st Nova Corps, more frequently referred to as the Galactic Marines. They were led by Clone Marshal Commander Bacara and Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi. Clone soldiers assigned to the 21st Nova Corps were known to possess remarkable discipline and were trained to operate in harsh and hostile conditions, for which they wore specialised armour. They most notably fought during the Mygeeto Campaign. Next, we have the 7th Sky Corps, led by Clone Marshal Commander Cody, and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Included within the 7th Sky Corps, were the 212th Attack Battalion, and both were equipped with armour with orange markings. Key battles that the 7th fought in, were on Christophsis, Ryloth, the 1st battle of Felucia, the 2nd battle of Geonosis, Umbara and Utapau. The 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps were placed under the command of Adi Gallia, and Clone Commander Ponds, until his death, where he was replaced by Commander Neyo. Jedi General Mace Windu also led units within the 91st, such as the 187th Legion, with Jedi Generals Oppo Rancisis and Stass Allie also taking command at various points of the war. With training in mobile warfare and reconnaissance, they were a smaller, more manoeuvrable corps of the Grand Army of the Republic. The 91st was frequently sent out to examine and secure passage for more powerful regiments. The battles of Ryloth, Malastare, and Saleucami were among the most significant conflicts that the 91st participated in. The 327th Star Corps were commanded by Clone Marshal Commander Bly and Jedi General Aayla Secura. Included within the 327th, were the 7th Legion. In addition to distinctive yellow insignia on their armour, pauldrons and kamas were provided as equipment for the corps higher ranking infantry. During the war, the Battle of Quell, the Siege of Saleucami, and the Battle of Felucia were among the corps' most significant engagements. The 41st Elite Corps was under the command of Jedi General Luminara Unduli, and Commander Gree, and included sub-units such as the 41st Scout Battalion and Green Company. During the defense of Kashyyyk, Jedi General Yoda supported Unduli and Gree in command. Although the 41st was a corps in its own right, it was organised as part of the 9th Assault Corps, which was similarly led by Unduli and wore the same armour. The identifying colour schemes for both the 41st and 9th varied considerably. Standard armour of both corps had green markings, and grey markings, depending on the terrain on which they were situated. Specialised camouflage armour was utilised for the Battle of Kashyyyk. In addition, they participated in the 2nd Battle of Geonosis and the Battle of Coruscant. Next, we have the 87th Sentinel Corps, which were distinguished by the maroon markings on their armour, and as a result of its proficiency in urban defensive tactics, they were regularly dispatched to Republic cities that were in risk of falling under Separatist control. Little more is known about them. Finally, we have the 416th Star Corps; a unit led by Jedi General K’Kruhk. They were known to have fought at the battle of Teyr, where much of the legion was wiped out. Unfortunately, there isn’t much else known about them.

My perfect saber would have to be something between Luke’s ROTJ saber and Palpatine’s saber. It would have a thin neck similar to Luke’s, but instead of a switch box, it would be smooth like Palpatine’s. It most likely will have no buttons to turn it on, just force on/off switch. It would be mostly silver with some gold. I would focus on Form 2 for it’s smoothness. Love the vids!!

My ideal lightsaber would be a fishing rod like lightsaber, the way it emitts the lightsaber part of it is by reeling it in.

This lightsabers main purpose is to confuse the opponent and then completely obliterate them with either whip like attacks or in a traditional style way by taking one part of the rod away.

It can also be used for standard fishing as it is multi functional.

The stronger the cast of the rod, the brighter and more dangerous this lightsaber can be.

The multi functional system in further detail can either dim or go to standard lightsaber strength for the emitter, thus allowing the fisherman to catch fish with it on and instantly cook them.

And how this lightsaber would work in general would be each ring of the rod is an emitter with micro kyber crystals in them to hyper focus the rods string like lightsaber emission.

My ideal lightsaber would either be a sleek, white and black single blade saber, or a more earthy wooden brown and black saber staff.

Orange is my color, but I am right on the cusp of brown (I scored 76). Because peace is always the ultimate goal, I would not want something super flashy, so I am thinking something like Jedi Master Tera Sinube’s sabercane. I would want something that I can take with me everywhere, so I’m thinking of a hilt made from Brylark tree wood to match the walking stick it would be attached to. My lightsaber would also be at the BOTTOM of my staff, again to signify it as a “worst case scenario”, if peaceful negotiations were not working. I would have the pommel (bottom) of my lightsaber as the claw of a Wampa so it doubled as grip for my walking stick and also just look cool. The rest of the staff would again be quite basic, to not draw attention to it. I’m thinking something similar to Chirrut Îmwe’s staff, but potentially made from roots from the Tree of Life from Kashyyyk, which were gifted to me after helping the Wookiees that protect the base of the tree. The staff would also be decorated with Shyyyo bird feathers to further enhance my relationship with nature.

I've thought of a pretty cool lightsaber which is a modified Shoto saber with a little stick of Beskar or Phrik on the end of the blade so that you can hold onto it for stronger strikes.

My perfekt lightsaber would be a pair of lightsabers, which is inspired by the chinese Tiger-Hook-Sword with blade curved to a hook at the end, small blades at the other end of the hilt and a moon shaped blade in front of the hilt. So basicly a Tiger-Hook-Sword with all sharp parts replaced with the blades of a lightsaber but in the described form. In terms of colour, I would chose blue for the main blade and orange for the other blades. I think it would be awesome, if such a lightsaber apeares in Star Wars, because it would have the advantage, that the blades can be linked together and become so even deadlier.

If I could design and have my own lightsaber, and had to live in the Star Wars setting and use it. I would be a fool to not have a version of pike! The spear/pike throughout history until the invention of firearms was the pinnacle in weapons design. As humans through evolution we have adapted to long pointy stick keeps us alive n happy. The spear/pike in history has been the absolute MVP in warefare due to its range and versatility, now imagine if the blade end was able to cut into practically anything? So how would I design mine? Simple. A black sleek grooved and comfortable hilt that has serrations that comfortably hold the hand, but allow for it to slide up and down as seen fit. The blade itself will be about 1.5-2 ft in length in order to maximize potential strike face. The hilt will be a meter or more in length depending on how long is comfortable for me. A nice addition will be a small 10 inches or less blade on the other end that can be ignited separately, that way there’s a potential offense when in close combat or spinning for whatever reason.

Edit: and oh for blade color. White. Im a simple human, I’m not pure evil or pure good. I seek balance in everything in life, without the dark n light, there’s nothing. And as a human I am neither of which, both reside within each of us.

Currently my ideal lightsaber would be of a similar design to the Swiss Saber replica made by Tod's workshop and Arcann's lightsaber from swtor. The hilt would be long enough to be used effectively with one or two hands and it as well as the stylised guard would be made of some form of lightsaber resistant material. It would have a pure white blade from a healed kyber crystal.

Ive always liked Qui Gon's saber for its ergonomics and simplicity. Give it a slight curve, flatten it our a bit into an oval shaped and put leather or hockey tape on the inner grip with a blue blade and youre ridiculously close to my iseal saber

My ideal saber would be more like mauls saber but besides it being dual sided I could with a flick of the button either separate it to dual wield or flick another button to make into a lightpike or lighthalberd for different types of combat depends on the enemy the halberd version for larger enemies the pike verson for keeping foes at bay the dual wield or double sided version if outnumbered the colors would be red cause of my anger and blue cause of my composure to keep my cool

My lightsaber would be take Ashoka's but have it gun metal grey, exposed cristal and have the spikes like from the force unleashed and the color of the saber would be orange

My ideal light Saber would be something like count dukoo and something fast and agile able to hit my enemy with ease and wouldn't be to hard like darth mauls lightsaber sure it's simple but effective also my Color would be purple
