I had nightmares playing against Marco Rose’s Man United in my Aston Villa save. I found out that only way to beat them is to avoid short passes at the back and play more directly, also I switched from 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 so that 2 defensive midfielders could chase their attacking midfielders. Now I started winning them by 3 or 4 goals but they still destroy other teams badly and it’s very hard to compete

Nice awesome tactic. I'm running a 4222 I made myself in my save and I'm unbeaten right now. I'll test yours (mixed the balanced tactic with the attacking one a bit) because it's more direct and might prove good in some matches. Keep up the good work mate.

I used this tactic with Barrow starting in Division 3. I got promotions every season in a row winning the FA Cup at Championship level beating Man City in the semi's and Arsenal 4-1 in the final, and then won the Premier League and Europa League in my first season in the Prem. It works and you dont need the very best players to do it. I kept to budget with signings each season and wage budgets etc. My highest win was a 21-0 win over Boca Juniors in a pre season friendly recently.

Funny enough, when I want an attacking tactic i lower the tempo and the more defensive I am, the higher my tempo. Reason is when I am attacking I want to have the ball, even if not possession based (may go up to second highest notch), and when I am defending I want the ball as far from my goal as possible as soon as possible.
