2014 James D. MacConnell Award Winner
Awarded by the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI), the James D. MacConnell Award is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the educational facility planning industry. Like the Oscars, even being nominated is a Big Deal. So we decided to go all out in producing this piece. We used specialized camera equipment to capture dramatic footage of key locations throughout the building. We also focused on the human story of Trillium Creek by conducting interviews with key members of the DOWA-IBI Group team, as well as school district officials, teachers, and students.
