Writing and selling ebooks can be a great way to share your knowledge and ideas with the world, and it can also be a profitable business venture. Here are just a few of the benefits of writing and selling books:

Ebooks are easy to distribute and access. With a digital format, ebooks can be easily distributed to a wide audience through online platforms such as Amazon, Apple Books, and Google Play. This means that anyone with an internet connection can access your work, which can greatly increase your reach and potential readership.

Books can be a passive income stream. Once you've written and published your ebook, it can continue to sell for years to come. This means that you can earn passive income from your work, even when you're not actively promoting it.

Ebooks are cost-effective to produce. Unlike traditional print books, ebooks don't require any physical production or distribution costs. This means that you can keep a larger percentage of each sale, as you don't have to cover the costs of printing, binding, and shipping.

Books are environmentally friendly. Because they don't require any physical production, ebooks have a much smaller environmental impact than traditional print books. This makes them a great choice for authors who are interested in sustainability.

Ebooks allow for more flexibility in content and formatting. With an ebook, you have more control over the layout and design of your work. This can be especially useful if you want to include multimedia elements, such as videos or interactive elements.

I hope in this video you were able to learn how to use chatgpt to write a books. This is a great way to use chatgpt to write ebooks and sell on other websites or to your clients.

Pro tip: DO NOT write all the chapters in one thread or the AI will start to replicate the structural pattern of the previous chapters. Each of your chapters will have the same exact structure right down to the phrasing. This is because as a probabilistic language model it is ONLY looking for patterns to copy. It's not actually thinking or considering anything. It's essentially a complex autocomplete and it can still get stuck in loops, but the loops are just longer and more complex. So you might not notice until you're on your 10th chapter, if you aren't reading each one as you go.

I have been doing something like this recently I really appreciated this video, just the prompt with "detailed" made a world of difference!! The one thing I HATE Is that it writes every single chapter roughly the same... uses very similar sentences over and over again... as well each paragraph is almost identical. For instance the start of the paragraphs: "Another important", "it is also", "finally", "In summary" and it uses these in Identical order. I did 12 chapters on a niche and paragraph 1 on every chapter was the same starting phrase as well as 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 on every single chapter. Drove me nuts!!! HOW I fixed this was a new chat for every chapter!

I would take notes like you did and generate the titles, Then in a new chat "I am writing an ebook on dog training please write a chapter for {title}" then gpt would write ALL the chapters totally differently!! When you stay in the same chat It thinks its doing a perfect job so it stays in the identical format for every single chapter.

Thought I would share with everyone if they stumble across this! :) Thanks again for the video!

Thanks for this one. Like everybody else, I've been seeing a lot of stuff about ChatGPT and AI, but I finally downloaded it, and in short order got it to outline an ebook for me. I have much more to learn, but I can see the fun is just beginning.

Hey my man this video was outstanding. Wrote my first 30k word book on Real Estate using Chat GPT. Also want to give mad props to you introducing WordAI. I've experimented with other sites and WordAI seems to be the only site that can change over AI to human conversation successfully. Super easy to use too! Thanks a ton for this!!!

This is nice, but the market will be flooded if it's not already. Content will be too easy to come by, meaning no one will be making any money. Authors already don't make a lot of money most of the time. Why pay someone if I can simply learn how to prompt an AI?

Sure, a few people will make money, and then there will be tons of cheaply made books where people don't really think about the prompts they are using. Creativity might win out if people use these tools to create new things, not just AI regurgitations.

I looked for several video's on writing a book using chatGPT and most were very good but when I got to your video I found it absolutely full of all the info and in order to easily follow.
The others should use your video for a template. Thanks for such a great job.

I can tell you this is a great method for creating shit ebooks. I can say this because I just spent the last three days writing a book using Chat GPT. You have the right idea but you can’t possibly trust what it’s writing unless you know the topic like the back of your hand. That’s when this becomes a powerful tool. The book I wrote is some thing I know and I was able to oppose things that wrote and proofread and guide it through the writing of the book. I use it as a tool. Granted, it wrote 90% of the book but it was a lot of work and a lot of back-and-forth. You’re on the right track but to get a decent buck you Gotta have a lot more. You can’t just tell it to write 10 chapters. You have to ask her about dog training and the different aspects of dog training and then tell her to write you an outline of a potential book about dog training. Then you have to quiz it constantly saying is there anything we’re missing? Is there anything you would add? Have we covered everything based on your knowledge etc. It will keep filling in the gaps and only then once you have your outline then you can generate how many chapters the book should be. Then you write it section by section, not chapter by chapter. You can ask chat GPT about its quality of writing, and it’ll clearly tell you you shouldn’t trust it to write more than a few paragraphs because the quality degrades significantly. You have to write this book 3 to 5 chapters at a time and you have to stay on top of it and know your topic and only then you’ll get a decent e-book.

I wonder if chatgpt has copyright, If I write a whole book should I say that chatgpt is the author or it could generate problems with amazon kindle?

I appreciated how this is all laid out so simply. I also appreciate the comments below on how to do this and what to avoid.

Great video. I have generated few books using ChatGPT. Tried different chat windows for each chapter. None of the books had any structure or 'flow'. Same language level as Google translated product manuals, we all have 'read'.

Current limit is ~700-800 words for each command, then you ask it to 'continue' or 'more details' etc, in that case it copies 50-60% of the previously written text and rewrites it :(

It is good to create an outline and basic content for a book. However generated text/book/content requires extensive rewrite and editing by a human to make it a proper 'book' and worth reading.

I've been using ChatGPT to write several ebooks already, I thought the way I was doing it was already as good as it can be but I have actually learned something here (the "full chapter" idea). Thank you.

What about copyright infringement? Are you checking that your pages (sentences and paragraphs) are not just copy pasted from somewhere else ad litteram?

Using ChatGPT to generate content without properly fact-checking and verifying the information may lead to the spread of misinformation. This can be problematic and harmful, as it can lead to confusion and misunderstandings. Furthermore, if many people rely on this method to create ebooks without properly researching and fact-checking, it could result in a large number of ebooks containing incorrect information. It's important to be diligent in verifying the accuracy of the information to prevent these issues. Additionally, it's important to avoid plagiarism.

how many words would you aim for if you were to sell the book you are making on amazon?

When everything's said and done, it is up to the humans to keep the ethics in place, despite how hard it may be. If something was generated with the AI, it is the responsibility of a content creator to clearly identify that, so people have a choice, among other reasons.
