Have you ever attempted to launch an old version of Minecraft only to be met with Exit Code: 1? In this #Shorts video, I briefly explain how to get older versions of Minecraft to actually load, and demonstrate the fix to the Exit Code: 1 error message.

While attempting to launch up Minecraft 1.4 I discovered this error, and happened to find the solution to the crash.

Do you know how to fix a glitch where nothing loads (like the block textures and the inventory images) on older versions? Anything below 1.8 will be sort of unplayable.

I loaded up 1.8 version the last version before the combat update on java launcher and when I went back to my current world it's screen tearing, never happened before any help
Edit: maybe I have to delete some files?
