Standing on one foot in the Yoga Practice

Being stable on one foot is all about engaging the standing leg.
Try spreading all your toes (on your standing leg), reach them wide, and place your foot back down. Think of PRESSING through the ball of your big toe, your little toe, and the center of your heel.
Next, SQUEEZE your buttcheek (your glutes help you stand straight), GROUND through your foot, and ENGAGE your quadriceps muscles.
Think about LIFTING your kneecap up, DRAW your low belly in, and LIFT & LENGTHEN through your spine.
