Great video. thank you:) i love twilight. i have been using it for a few days now and its great. What are the differences between using sketchup for the bump vs the fealut that twilight selects?

On a side note: There is a method called "the dave methode" that was coined after a friend of mine at the sketchup forums, DaveR is his name. When working with eneroth solid tools or solids in general, there is the issue of small faces and weird geometry at the mm level. So what he has done is makes a copy of the component, scales that copy up by 1000, makes the edit in the large one, and since it is a component, it makes the edits in the small version as well. Then you just remove the large copy. Usually what i do is that method or i just make my models in meters, then use the tape tool to resize the entire model down with a known dimension.

The follow-me tool is acting up.

When I put the glass-part into a group, the follow-me tool refuses to be used on it.
I started from scratch 4 times now.
One time it even merged with the background image and the 3D-model was blurry red.

I think it has something to do with the shared outline of the liquid-part with the glass-part.

How do you change the background colour from black when using the boxlight.hdr. I would like a more neutral colour like white or a very light grey?

Thank you so much for your videos they are really helpful! Can you please tell me how to eliminate the black background? Im trying to render floor plans and I want a white background, I have tried with all the files inside Studio Light by Rayman and it is very dark all the time. Thanks a lot!

Good video, The meniscus is the curve in the upper surface of a liquid close to the surface of the container..It can be either concave or convex.

Why did you resize your render image?

You're blowing my mind. Awesome videos. May I suggest telling us what a field means rather than just telling what to set it to? This will help us learn. For example, you said, "set the Bump to Sketchup". What does "Bump" mean and how do the various values affect the work?

I can't believe it! After 5 days of trying i finally got it! The problem was face orientation. Surface was inside the object, so the light refraction went totally wrong. Anyway, thanks for your channel content.

Was this video made before you discovered outliner? because hiding and unhiding in outliner is far better than using the menus haha
