The BEST MINI PEDALBOARD I've ever made!

I got to do a Sam Cooke Tribute tour and thought I'd make a mini board to travel light, but also to have a minimalistic analog approach to my tone since the music dated back to the 50s and 60s. Little did I know I had a much more versatile mini board then I thought!

I 100% recommend a boost pedal for everyone, you need to put it before an overdrive. If you have room I'd recommend 2 overdrives, one transparent (example - Morning Glory by JHS) and one that adds lots of mids (Example - The Charlie Brown by JHS). then can boost into either overdrive and have so many different sounds. This video also shows and overdrive is great for ambient sounds.

Awesome video. These sounds sound great! Have you encountered any challenges when playing live? I’m curious as to how you could quickly change between sounds (different settings within each device). I’m wondering your thoughts on how this compares to say, a programmable pedal board? I’m in the market for something.

My pedal board is a $5.00 metal baking pan flipped upside down from Dollar general. Large enough to fit 5 full sized pedal or 7/8 mini pedals' plenty of flat level area to Velcro the too and room enough to fit a large sized power supply inside the pan.
I found a used DeWalt sawzall case at a yard sale for fifty cents to carry it in.

ARP87 looks like a very cool compact delay. I've been looking at the Keeley Halo for a small board, but this one probably should go into the mix.

Call me old fashioned, but I can get ALL those tones, and more, with my criminally small ampero mini and expression pedal, powered by a regular cellphone power bank. No need to even plug into the outlet. No noise. I really ditched pedals because, at this point in the future (2024), digtal units have become all I need, even (or mainly) for live gigs. I don't even depend on a local power source! The future is great!
I do still love my tube amp for home loud fun, but realistically, digital is the way to go now. Check out the ampero mini, the valeton, the mooer, and others (to me the ampero beats all, but YMMV).

I feel like a Jackson Audio Bloom would fit well where that boost pedal is. And that way you have compression, EQ, AND BOOST all in 1 pedal without compromising space. Making your board even more versatile

The Fathom, specially the lower octave sonar control, is one of my favorite reverbs, just wish I could turn the modulation off completely instead of just low. The Fathom also has a secret delay+verb mode like how the ARP has the secret delay+trem mode.

Cool board. The only thing I’d recommend is swapping the position of the arp87 with the od or boost so the dual foot switches are spaced more. Obviously in the same signal chain

That's a killer setup and I'm a sucker for Walrus pedals. Do you have any issues hitting the bypass/tap temp switches that are close together? (like the Arp 87 and the Fathom)

As long as you have walrus pedals, there is the EB10 which is excellent ;-)
