Non-conductive plastic surfaces of 3D-printed objects can be plated with TIFOO’s electroplating products with almost any (precious) metal. In this video, we show you all of the plating steps you need in order to get from a plastic surface to a gold surface. We start with a 3D model in our CAD-software on the computer. The resulting real plastic object (3D-print) is then plated with the TIFOO CONDUCTIVE COPPER VARNISH. Three further plating steps follow: copper- and nickel-plating via tank plating and finally gold-plating with pen plating.
