His foot needed to hit about 3 to 6 inches higher parallel to the deadbolt. The goal is not to break the deadbolt but to stress the doorframe to the point of breaking. Simply put; use stronger door frames to counter this method. Y'all welcome.

When I was in the fire academy, we were taught that it doesn't matter how good your lock is, what matters is how strong is your door jam and how strong and long are your hinge screws. Those are far more important in determining door strength against forcible entry
