I ate at Famous Dave's this past weekend in Maple Grove. Food is still great, however I wasn't a fan of the TV's. It's a family restaurant not a sports bar. I have to wonder if the sales went up temporarily because they just renovated and people wanted to try it out and therefore the sales might peter out and even out back to the way it used to be. the food still tasted good that's all I care about I guess I just really enjoyed the cabin Blues theme that I grew up with.

What? No SAMPLES??? My problem with Famous Dave's is 2 fold (1)they are awfully spicy 🌶 (2)they closed our local location years ago and we really miss them - I guess White Castle was too much competition for them.

Famous Dave's lost business from micromanaging the kitchen and poor service. Same reasons most restaurants go downhill. Years ago their food used to taste a lot fresher. My last few visits everything tasted like it had been frozen a long time and warmed up. Not really worth the prices. Had nothing to do with the atmosphere or not enough lunch combos. Use fresh ingredients. Pay your wait staff a bit more.

So basically they are ruining Famous Dave's...Replacing blues with country? YUCK. What do they have against blues? They racist? Good music isn't outdated like that weasily anchor said. If blues is outdated then so is awful country music.

for one...true BBQ comes with good blues AND VICE VERSA, but with that said if you know anything ABOUT music. country is just a mix of blues and gospel. at least REAL country music. but come on. if the food is right and the service is good unless you chose a chit location or you got greedy and over produced, . it will sell its self, famous daves is great. i dont want to see these changes. learn your history of bbq. it was slaves food and they figured out how to cook it RIGHT. the blues compliments the food. and again vice versa, this must have been up north or in the west coast
