I recently purchased the Stanley Sharptooth 15"/380 mm saw, and after using it for the first time, I decided to do a short review on it.
I didn't realize that this saw had triple ground teeth, which explained why I was able to cut so easily and fast. Though I only had a few small projects I was working on, I could easily use this saw on larger projects as well!
The Stanley Sharptooth has 8 TPI (teeth per inch), for an agressive cut of all wood types. The triple ground teeth allow you to cut on the push and pull stroke, therefore letting you cut 50% faster than with traditional tooth saws!
The handle is sturdy, yet has a comfortable grip, and can also be used to mark 45 degree and 90 degree angles on your wood.
The blade has been hardened for long life, and the teeth have been induction hardened for long lasting sharpness. It's very easy to keep a straight line while cutting with this saw!

I bought the Stanley sharptooth saw after seeing a few reviews on it. I found out it does not cut hardwoods very well. It took some work to get it started and wasn't easy on the down stroke. I also found the handle is not that comfortable. Wish I still had my old hand saws! They never failed me!

Sassy
