The only issue I have with Jordan Stone's advice on outsourcing your HR is that when it comes to technical recruitment, almost all recruiters suck at this. They simply match resumes to job specs. Anyone can do that. You need to do this entirely on your own and it should be done in such a way that you have candidates write some real code that gets reviewed by the founders and any technical devs they already have onboard.

Mushrooms and lions mane coffee, ok!. You know the scary part is the founders who failed are pretty intelligent, sheesh, the world of startup investing can be brutal! I’ve lost money on startups, I just look at it as part of the process until I hit that one or two successful startup exit or IPO.
