I bought a bag from a local Italian purse shop by me... I pick one of the mid range purses but I like its feel... Owner says its made with the same leather as Hermes bags. After looking at a Hermes bag in the mall, can confirm same leather. The shop girl even wanted to know were my bag was from she wants one like it.

But true story, I once bought a cashmere scarf from Hermes. Supposedly made with cashmere from Scotland. And I bought a similar scarf from an artisan in Canada. There was no difference other then the Hermes logo stitched on and the severe price markup.

I have that bag and love how incognito it goes! No one around me identifies the brand at first glance and I love that I can use it every day without the judgment of "you carry a 2k bag for every day use" I have very few bags so I want to make sure that what I have will last me and will look good long term for every day use! Totally worth it 👌
