Florida homeowners call 911 on cat

A Florida couple called 911 after their Russian Blue attacked them.

These people featured are careless and ignorant about how to treat cats. A man stepped on a cat, then kicked it too? The boy pulled his cat's tail, then the family wonder why the cat lashed out? Cats are made of flesh & blood just like us and they feel pain just like us. Imagine the pain these poor family cats felt?

I always tell my cat sorry when I accidentally step on his tail. He'll yowl lodly and hiss then in soft voice I tell him I'm sorry and pet him, he seems to understand.

We had a Russian Blue and no issues. She even let my mother vacuum her body with the hose. There is something wrong with both stories. Past abuse? I had a BF who was attacking my cat behind my back. He had allergies but never took meds. He was gone shortly after. LOL Had the nerve to tell me he wanted me to get rid of my pet. uh, no!

Cats are normally not that aggressive unless there's a history of trauma, which it sounds like there was if they've been stepping on, kicking them, yanking their tails, etc. That's called abuse. If you can't treat your cat with respect you shouldn't have one.

Cats don't usually attack people unless someone in the home has abused the cat. Cats arent usually aggressive by nature.

A Russian blue? That's really unusual. Russian blues are normally very docile.

Thats a natural wild.breed of cat in the russian moutains. For domesticated one to snap like this they must have terrorise her.

I was bitten once by a very skittish dog while trying to bath her. The owner felt horrible and thought about putting her down. Thank goodness she ended up taking her to vet at a later time and found out the dog was sick. She must have been suffering for a while before they found out because after she was treated she became a much calmer and happier dog. It can’t hurt to check with a vet when a pet acts unusual.
