LEGO® All train level crossings - Building my own remote controlled level crossing with Webrick

After many hours of research, in this video I am going to show you all the train level crossings that LEGO has released since 1976. In the entire history of level crossings, there was only one electrically operated one. That's why I decided to build my own remote-controlled level crossing and I'll do that together with you in this video. And maybe we will also see one or the other train and experience a little surprise at the end.

For the Level Crossing MOC I used bricks from Webrick that were given to me for free. This in no way influenced my opinion of the delivered bricks, as I have already worked with Webrick bricks before this offer and I am convinced of the price-performance ratio.

12% off for your first order!!!. Just use this code: WEBRICK245

There will soon be a video how to order bricks from Webrick.

Your level crossing looks awasome. I also really like that modified 60337. Looking forward to see the video about it.

Excellent video, great work Kexy! I liked the history of crossings section - it was neat seeing how far they had developed (and then devolved). Your motorized crossing is inspiring! Very cool build.

It is sad that Lego doesn't seem to do railroad crossing sets anymore

That’s devotion to the cause! Probably the only video focused on Lego level crossings!

I had the 12v system with remote controlled points, etc, when I was a boy. It was great fun to build tracks and trains and your video reminded me of that happy time.

My four year old son is obsessed with level crossings. We spend hours at several crossings close to us in the UK including barriers with sounders, silent barrier and foot crossings.

The 12 V era began around 1970, when the rails were blue. The first set shown from 1976 was compatible with 12 V. You can see the part between the rails that could be removed for the electric rails, as it is done in the next set with the grey rails.

So you need then go with raised MILS plates and use a thumb rule for train tracks. Rising them by 1 plate on 1 str8 track for smooth ride
Waiting for MOC showcase of passenger express looks awesome!

The barriers in front of the crossing close first for safety reasons. If you are trapped on the crossing when the barriers go down, you can still just normally leave the crossing. Quite often, the barriers behind the crossing are completely missing.

Dein MOC ist sehr schön und der neue Zug ist super!

As a kid, I had a Lego 12V train system. The railway crossing was remotely controlled, just like the signals and switches. Unthinkable, nowadays.

Looks great but i think it would look better if the rails were roght next to each other wothout the “house” since i think more crossong now are automated. But still like the looks of it.
