Everton Stadium has been described as a “game changer” in the rebirth of north Liverpool.

Chris Capes, Development Director for Peel Waters, who are responsible for regenerating Liverpool Waters, heralded the Club’s stunning new home on the city’s famous waterfront, which has long been earmarked for major development.

And Capes insisted that Everton Stadium was the beating heart of the ambitious £5.5bn Liverpool Waters scheme, which will transform the derelict dock spaces and breathe new life into a historic part of the city landscape.

Welcome to the Official Everton Football Club YouTube channel. We'll offer fans real insight into life at Goodison Park, Finch Farm and on the road with the Blues.

That park in the waters site has just got to be called ‘Goodison Park’, not another name that fits it more!

Let's hope we get the Mersey tidal barrier too, all three together will be a step change for that part of Liverpool and beyond

Great for the whole area, and for the city. I’ll be sad when we leave Goodison but I think this place will be a fitting legacy, especially if this helps speed up the regeneration right up to kirkdale

@ 3:18 ….this has to be the slowest moving Cruise Ship on the planet! It took just over 2 years to travel past the Stadium from one end of Liverpool Waters to the other

Let’s be honest here, peel holdings have done absolutely nothing to this site for years. They’ve just sat on the land and let it rot.

I know there's a bad need for housing but we don't want the waterfront to be too residential. Enjoy the space and nature. 🙏

One club is kicking people out of there houses whilst the other is reinventing a whole water front

Evertons part in the regeneration of the docks is a good thing for the City. Every scouser looks forward to it being improved, it'll bring more jobs, and extra tourism

The riverside promenade which runs from the heart of the city to the stadium will be awesome. I can imagine a certain other football club will be a bit envious.

Should have left Goodison 25 years ago. It'll be missed but we need new chapters.

Ahh, please don't build any more crappy, modern skyscrapers there. The waterfront has been ruined by too many of them already
