The northeast monsoon is set to hit Tamil Nadu by October 16 with the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) issuing a red alert for many parts of Chennai on October 16. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will today hold a meeting to review the preparedness.
