Today we set off to find the lost trapper cabin. It is on crown land and that means we're going to try and find it and have a look inside. Spring melt is in full force and hiking almost 5 miles today quickly turned into a slog. The lost cabin remains lost and Gary drinks his own urine. Almost. Thanks for watching guys better luck next time I guess.

Sorry Gary. You always put an heroic effort in doing these videos! I enjoy soo much! Don't listen, to the nay sayers and to those, whom, complain about you complaining! To heck, with them! It just infuriates me!!!

Hell of a hike my friend! Sorry about folks giving you a thumbs down! Some just don't get it! The trapper's cabin reminds me of the song "The Grunge" by Led Zeppelin. "Where's that confounded bridge"? Appreciate you & Gage, your time and efforts! Great video!

At 1:24 behind you looks like a rake and what looks like a axe handle hanging in that pine tree. Very strange.

Thx for that long exhilarating walk! I tried to keep up but after only 30 min. I need to take my inhaler😉😉! To all those complainers, 👎! Stop watching! I enjoy "our" walks and the excitement of what we might see or hear. All those structures and broken trees that I think are NOT natural, are proof enough, to me, that The Big Guy shares your woods. Sorry we didn't encounter the cabin today, but there's always a next time. Thx for 4+miles of a great adventure. Gary has curly hair😍

I thought you carried a Garmin eTrex with you? ( or something like it) Next time you find the cabin - PIN IT on the Garmin so it will be easy to find in the future. Thanks again for all the adventures.

At 1:50 why is there a rake in the tree behind you? Trail grooming?
Great video of an endless, punch step through the crust trek!

And who gave those “trail makers” permission to invade your property? Many of the trails seem to have snow compaction from a ski bike. You should insist on certain things for the privilege of using your property: 1) exact GPS coordinates of any finds, 2) pictures to prove their finds, 3) non-disclosure agreements to keep significant finds out of the public domain and keep trespassing from proliferating. You should be able to locate anything using a GPS unit, at least knowing whether you are heading the right direction or trail.
I was starting to get thirsty for you, too. When you begin to exhibit anxiety and that squirrely look in your eyes, your reaching a dangerous level of dehydration. Of course we know that Gage will eat snow, but it’s not a good thing for humans apparently, as it can increase the risk of hypothermia. I have an image in my head that came from cartoons (as a kid) of a Saint Bernard dog with a flask about its neck - any resemblance to Gage? The flask was apparently used to carry medicines to remote villages in the arctic, but could just as easily carry water to be used in emergencies. Or, vodka laced with a sedative, to die peacefully in the cold arctic night (with no hope of being found - of course that’s unnecessary today if you have a GPS tracker and emergency signal). You were looking pretty frazzled there, Gary! I don’t mean to be critical, but you should never hike without reparations of at least water and a granola bar, and your tracker and compass, spare phone battery block and cable. Take care, man. Don’t want to hear that you wound up in the hospital with hypothermia or dehydration. 🙏🏻😳🇺🇸.

Gary, 22:53 pauses the video. Look zoomed to your left closely next to the gray prominent tree you will see a face there and one to the right of it also and then over between the two trees to the right of your head there is a big black spot in the tree and I have a 70 in TV screen and I went over with the magnifying glass and that black thing has a face. I can just see two huge eyes and two pointed ears I think. Anyway the thing on your left looks super super creepy while both of them do. I do believe you were being watched heavily. The one to the left definitely looks like a dog face with a tongue hanging out and everything. I don't think that's pareidolia either
