Hades' Star RS9 Croid Run with Macros
Показать описание
In this Hades' Star: Red Star level 9 video I started to use macro for quick movement. Those fast-clicking and cycling between ships, were not done by spamming right-click on the mouse. I just select a ship, and press the macro key, one time.
We can't select multiple ships at once in Hades' Star. So selecting and moving every single ship on PC version can somewhat put stress on my wrist, even with the use of hotkeys. I use claw grip on my mouse which can be harmful if I play red star back to back.
I use K55 Corsair Keyboard now. Got some Gkeys and using its iCUE software to record and edit macro, no need to read guide, pretty easy and intuitive to use. FYI, Macros are not compulsory for RS9. I simply wanted to stop abusing my wrist and mouse.
I made three macros:
1. Selecting battleships, teleporting them in correct order to my current cursor location(1ms delay).
2. Selecting, moving all similar type ships to my current cursor location(1ms delay)
3. Selecting, moving all similar type ships to my current cursor location(0ms delay)
The macro without delay works better vs macro with 1ms delay. But I like better the sound effect produced by the 1ms-delay-macro ingame(the clickety clack sound effect when selecting ship).
Special thanks to Tekathurrai, First Officer of Sith Empire, after watching his RS10 gameplay video using macro, I realize I don't have to spend time to learn to use Autohotkey software to tweak my old keyboard. Save time, buy keyboard with Gkeys on them.
Do feel free to comment on anything and don't forget to subscribe :)
