Packaging is such an important part of the product. I kept buying a face palette from a mid tier brand (maybe nars, or ud) and it would constantly break. I loved how it looked on my skin but I couldn’t keep wasting money it. Eventually I gave up on the product and now I can’t convince myself to bother with something that isn’t packaged well

This really shouldn’t be happening with the packaging, that’s so disappointing!! If you struggle to get it to stay in though when you put it back, another thing you can do since it’s still fairly solid is put a dot of eyelash glue between the highlight and the metal pan - I’ve seen other people suggest using rubbing alcohol to repress it which also works great!

this happens to me all the time with this product! i have a trick; use some rubbing alcahol to press it down! and it works perfectly after ❤

I bought this product for the first time when was 19 yrs old. It was absolutely perfect in everyway to me. So when it started breaking apart (the white glittery oreo filling) I was SO triggered. I swore off for years. I ordered another one now tht im 23 bc I really do love this product. Im just hoping I can use it without it breaking

This happened to me as well, as well as the Fenty beauty gloss that lost all the shiny material on the cap. It’s annoying considering that the product itself is good and the price is so high.

Maybe the packaging you got is bad, but I got the same highlighter and I’ve been using it everyday for 3 years now and it’s perfectly fine - both packaging and the product. Maybe consider storing it not in a loose beauty pouch, but rather in a tight toiletteries bag.

This isnt due to the packaging that its falling out its due to the product. Its a putty product so has a level of water content to it after so long the water will evaporate shrinking the product. Thats why it keeps falling out. Kind of along the same lines as the super shock shadows from colour pop.

I’ve had mine for 4plus years and yes it’s probably expired but it’s never broken and I use it to this day for my inner corner highlight.

You can fix the powder cake by crushing it up to powder, wet it with alcohol until crumbly, cover with plastic wrap and press it down with something flat, I used a large coin, for example
And then let it air dry

Honestly my best glitter highlighters are ways too soft and end up breaking but i think it’s just the formula, i nave the mini and it never breaks but i can tell by the texture that the bigger one would

It probably wouldn't happen if people were more careful with their products tbh, the way influencers throw their makeup around and hold them upside down to see the light reflecting is not really what the products are meant for, this is a super soft formula and should be kept flat at all times
