Thanks for this. Baiting the lightning attack and being prepared in a good position helped a lot, and I agree not being greedy is the key here. You can get lots of free hits in if you don't settle in for a full combo.

Damn. Blasphemous is a really great game, I would not consider it my favorite... but this moment, where Esdras, this ill-guarded Knight, screams in Agony for his sister, only to have that "thing" appear that you fought before without knowing who it was... Such a great moment, still sends shivers down my spine.

This took me 23 tries but somehow when I beat him I didn't even use a single heal. Practice makes perfect I guess.

Pro tip make sure you beat his sister before you go to fight the charred lady so you can get her item that protects against lightning attacks although my experience it hasn’t done a thing

I know every fight is different for dif people but I loved this fight. You can parry a lot and it felt satisfying. Wanted to watch it again. Also at beginning of fight just move to left side of screen and get in a free four hit combo. Edit: you can also duck the projectiles

you can parry most of his moves but parrying the spin attack leaves you open for a follow up. The jumping and staying in the middle helps. You can also simply duck under the projectiles in the last phase.

They updated this fight. Now it is imposdible to follow him because you will be struck by lightning. There‘s no way to avoid the lightning strikes.

Not seeing any comments on this so I'll just say it: when he does the spin-in-place attack that throws out the blue waves in sets of two or three, you can actually just duck down and they won't hit you at all. Also, if you can manage to duck at the right spot and be close enough to him, you can stay ducked and just wail ducked attacks on him for free
