I lost my home in a fire back in 2017, but it wasnt just my home, it was also my two cats and one of my dogs. I couldn't keep the survivor afterwards, i just wasnt able to care for her, thankfully she went to a very good home and has plenty of siblings to grow up with. The fact that someone is doing this crap has me furious.

I live about 45 min from this fire the Blum of smoke are terrifying I'm nervous and it started 6 years to the day that the carr fire in redding ca came through here I was evacuated from the carr fire and this has grown ro what the carr fire got in 10 days it took this fire only 3 day's ro reach that thanks JD for posting this

My friend lost home that he grew up in. And now raising his family in. And now it's all gone. I remember birthday parties hanging out, and it's F'n gone. He said at least he has his memories with his family and friends and he will rebuild and start all over at least he and his loved are okay but there are so many families who have lost so much including him. Having friends losing everything it hurts to see that happened to good people.😥😠😡🤬

Dude. I just drove by it on the 5. Its fucking massive. I fought wildland fire for a couple years after the corps. This fire is rolling.

A lot of halfway houses I’ve been in always ask if you have arson or sex charges, those 2 kinds of people are not wanted anywhere! They will be hurt

Those wild fires wouldn't be so bad if they did control burns. I was a Firefighter for 21 yrs near the Desoto National forest for 12 of those years. We had one bad fire season because of a drought after Hurricane Katrina. And the fallowing year we couldn't do our normal prescription burns. Due to a drought, heavy under growth and additional fuel load we had fires that we had to have National Parks service and National guard helicopters doing air drops of water on these fires. We never had a fire get to the size they get out west and that day it was only because of prescribed burns that it did not.
