How to mount a #wrangler bumper on a #Jeepwj , this question has been asked countless times in various forums and Jeep Grand Cherokee Facebook groups and pages. Well I’ve got your answer. The Jeep Wrangler has a lot more options for front bumpers and they also come with a much cheaper price tag (who doesn’t love saving some money right?) these brackets allow you to mount a JK/JKU front bumper to your WJ these brackets can be purchased from Todd (linked below) and in my opinion are a must have if you’re looking for ways to make your build one of a kind. My big thing when building any Jeep is to be unique and not have my Jeep look like everyone else’s and this set up allows me to do just that.
Steps
1.) Cut out portions of the unibody
2.) Drill out pre existing holes to 1/2”
3.) slide in bracket and tighten all nuts and bolts
4.) mount the Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU bumper of your choice to the brackets
A super simple install and in my opinion you can expect it to take 45 minutes to 1 hour with basic tools .
