Hey man thanks a lot for this, I'm just starting to watch the NBA and this was the only thing that helped me understand. Plus the important dates at the end were really helpful too

I just like the old format, but that’s just me.

I just watched a couple videos on your channel. I really like the style of your clear, concise, and direct content. As someone who likes visualizing things, the animations and graphics you created are also a great piece. They kept my attention and explained things perfectly. I love supporting small channels and am really surprised that you do not have more subscribers. Keep working on it and successful will follow

I like the term "Play-In Zone" feels like a interesting stat bracket that should be separate from Regular and Post-Season.

I don't like the play in tournament. 2 games can determine if a 10 seed can bump out a 7th seed, even tho the 7th seed had a better season record??

Play-in stats should be considered playoff stats, I mean the 4 teams are technically fighting to move up the bracket

nice video. If lowest seed for example # 8 seed upset # 1 seed. Do they play the next highest seed or do they play 4 vs 5 seed ?

Finishing the regular season at the 7th season doesn’t guarantee you 7th seed for the playoffs. You could potentially get beat out in the play inn format which is stupid. And you could potentially get beat out by the 10th seed. Why did they do this?

some stuff i didn't understand :
how many teams starts each seasons from each "conferences"?
does the season always starts and ends in the same dates ?
are "surprise team win" a frequent thing ? if not, is it due to the format of the playoffs ?

I've been watching alot of your videos and they are really informative and for someone like me who's in South Africa the sport isn't that big so I learnt alot from the channel and so thank you ❤️

The stats should be in the play-in zone. There’s a difference between most points in a playoff game and most points in a play-in game. Just like regular season and playoff. They’re separate for a reason cause the level of play is different.

Play in stats could be designated as "play-in stats and at the end of that persons career put them in there as such. The other format 8 plays 1 is archaic. My new format:
4 play the 8th seed.
3 play the 7th seed.
2 play the 6th seed.
1 play the 5th seed.

8 does not beat 1 that often so why even keep doing it. Give the 5th seed some hope that they are not really that bad "at least we are not the worst team." 8th seed looks at the 4th seed and says "we can handle these guys for sure!" I have been reading a great book that has a lot of historical data about all that surrounded the invention of basketball. Dr Naismith had a mind that is often undervalued until you read how his thoughts evolved into the sport of basketball.

The NBA needs to remember this man and what he wanted from the sport...evolve it. His task to keep the kids from being bored and physically active, was first about them having a "moral compass" not athletic ability. Rev. Dr. James Naismith.
