How to afford exchange years + the real cost of studying abroad | scholarships | monthly costs

as requested by one of my lovely viewers, I am talking about all things money and finances concerning exchange years. I will give you an estimate amount of money you will spend per month when studying abroad and give you tips on how to afford your exchange year. I will also hint at some scholarship options and tell you about all of the costs you need to consider when budgeting for your year abroad.

Speaking as someone who is considering hosting an exchange student at some point, and whose husband is a youth pastor, I would honestly say that I wouldn't be expecting a visitor to be giving at church on a regular basis. Things are also different now with Covid, and my church now has wooden boxes in the back of the sanctuary instead of passing an offering plate, so there might also be less pressure than you maybe felt.

Hi, my name is Kendrique Steptore and I'm a fashion student at Louisiana State University (LSU). I've been allowed to study fashion abroad this summer in Paris France. It's no secret, Paris is the ideal place for anyone interested in learning and specializing in art, architecture, design, the French language and of course, anything that is related to fashion. Not only is Paris the home of Haute Couture, but it's also where many of the biggest names in fashion got their start. This program is valuable to me because it’ll help me better myself as a designer through hands-on instructions, learning to speak French, and thinking like an Haute Couture designer. I believe this amazing opportunity will not only impact my career but is the stepping stone in starting my career. Me being a college student, the opportunities this program offers are once in a lifetime. Not only do I get to live in Paris for a month, but I get to study at one of Paris's top fashion schools, and learn the French language, design techniques and cuisine. I also get to experience Men’s Fashion Week Paris and work backstage at Men’s Fashion Week. With these opportunities, my opportunities as a designer are limitless. This program will assist me in growing as a designer, and a person by introducing me to a completely new culture and pushing me to reach new heights. Anything helps.

Heyy thank you for this video, this is very helpfull :) I really want to go on an exchange year in 2022/2021 in the usa but it is just alot of money and i can now only aford the half of the price, so a scholarship would be really helpfull haha, but how do i search for the scholarship for a highschool exchange? Because i can only find the scholarships for college and not for the highschool exchange years if you know what i mean haha.
