The chant is correct, City really do fight 'til the end.

While Pep Guardiola‘s teams during his eight and a half years in Manchester City have been packed to the brim with incredible talent, it’s perhaps our never say die attitude that has seen win 18 major honours.

We’ve been no stranger to significant late strikes under our incredible Catalan, with a whole host of winners in the dying moments perhaps ultimately proving the difference between success and failure at the end of the campaign.

After Stones‘ header, City Studios decided to take a look at the other winners scored after 85 minutes since Guardiola took charge in 2016.

As you’d expect, the likes of Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling feature heavily while there are also notable recent strikes from Erling Haaland and Oscar Bobb.

Watch them all above to take a trip down memory lane...

Sterling was just in insane form in the 2018/2019 season. Him and Leroy Sane on the wings was just something else especially with those lightning-quick transitions. That City team of 2018/19 should have won a UCL but VAR decided otherwise in the quarter-finals against Spurs.

They way we spent all these years doing the efforts and pep orchestrated this from so long.
We surely are the champion's team aren't we?
Im so proud of this team.
The blues will always be the best.
The last minute jesus and sterling goals man the energy, the tension, the intensity.
And rodri and John stones now just so crucial and important.
City for life 🩵

All the haters saying John Stones goal yesterday should have been disallowed because of Bernardo's interference - well have you seen Arsenal's tactic's of blocking the keeper? All their corners that led to a goal should be disallowed as well.

YOUNG TALENT LONG TO GO. 💙 FULL FOCUS ON PREMIER LEAGUE NEXT SOUTHAMPTON!! WE MUST CONTINUE THE GOOD WORK AS LIVERPOOL LOOK DANGEROUS IN ATTACK... I was looking for Haaland's goal against Dortmund in the UCL but I guess it was the 84th minute, not late enough 😅
