Conservatives are constantly complaining about “cancel culture,” the idea that people, media, and ideas are being suppressed by online mobs. The real truth, though, is that conservatives created cancel culture—and are its worst offenders. For generations, conservatives have sought to suppress leftist ideas, destroy the lives and livelihoods of their political enemies, and make certain topics taboo in mainstream media. We made a short video to explain.
