Its like when somebody your own age or younger tries to comfort you by saying: " You remind me of myself. I was just like you.".

Hope Griffy’s younger fans (high school up to 25) especially take this message into account.

You’ll be fuckin SHOOK at how time flies by folks. Ask yourself if the excuses you give yourself as to why you haven’t started working towards whatever goal you have is ACTUALLY a valid excuse (spoiler alert: 99.5% of the time, it’s not). Nobody says you have to build Rome in a day, but simply STARTING to make whatever changes and progress you need to (AND STICKING TO IT), and whatever sacrifices you need to, will make a WORLD of difference to your future self when you’re young.

I was the person in this video my teens and 20s. Always saying I’m gonna start losing weight this year, or I’m definitely gonna stop slacking in school this upcoming year, which turned into “I’m definitely gonna go back to school this year”. Said that all the way until one day I woke up pushing 30 and practically a fuckin bum, with a decade and a half behind me full of nothing but regrets. No place of my own. No savings. Still fat AF. Dead end job. That was my life because that was the life that I made the poor choice to work for, while kidding myself year after year that “tomorrow” would be the day I magically changed and I could have the same life as the people who had been progressing that entire time I was fuckin around. I don’t care who you are or where you are, TIME is the most valuable asset any of us have. I try not to dwell on it, but I can never get that time back that I wasted, and that will forever haunt me, what could’ve been if I had decided enough was enough sooner. For example: With the housing market as it is, I could’ve bought a house relatively dirt cheap and effortlessly multiplied my net worth from 2017-now, if I’d got my shit together when I should’ve.

The sooner you start transforming, the easier it will be. Take it from someone who is now 31 and going to college classes with mostly kids 17-20 y/o, don’t be me. It’s embarrassing, even if you finally do wake up. (Most never do) Work towards a better future NOW, whatever that means for you. You’ll be surprised at how fast you get used to being more productive in your every day life, and how good it feels.

For those of you around my age or older, late is better than never though. Ask yourself what you’ll feel if you’re still at the same exact place 5 years from now, that you are now. And then ask yourself if doing the same things and living the same type of life that you always have been has been working you get closer towards what you want your life to be. The very definition of insanity is repeating the same things, but expecting different results.

Done with my Ted talk of the day.

This be annoying af. They tell you "you haven't changed" and you ask if it's good or not and have the audacity to say "that's up to you" bro you effin said it lmao

Saying to someone that they haven't changed isn't necessarily a compliment. Thanks for reminding me of that.
