18th Century finds! Coin haul! Potsherd treasures! Mudlarking with Old Father Thames.

Hello Mudlarking Friends! Join me on my latest adventure to the tidal River Thames in London. It's my first trip to the foreshore since returning home from my Lancashire/Merseyside jaunt, and what a welcome home I received! From post medieval to modern, we have finds galore today, with something for everyone - metal, ceramic and organic to coins, keys and artillery... it's all going on, down by the river! ⚠️ 🚨 You must have a valid PLA permit to search the River Thames foreshore. Permits are obtainable from the Port of London Authority, although a waiting list may apply. 🚨 ⚠️

I have an appreciation for big old keys too 🥰 working at the Tower of London I use a big old key to access the area where I work. Love the coin hoard remnants of someone's collection for the density found, beautiful little thames garnet too -some really interesting and nice finds!
