I love your work. I’ve been trying to think of a manga idea and have been drawing concepts since September and have been struggling to find something I found cool but not generic (Since I like shonen manga), and I’ve tried my best observing different personalities in movies and animes to get a good gist of how to write good characters. I think less is more in this case, since now the cover looks too busy. With a background the same saturation as the characters. It doesn't pop out, it just blends together.
Plus you're art is good enough to carry the whole cover, it doesn't need this many effects.

For beginners getting into Copics for the first time;

Deleter Comic book Kent Paper --- Type BK a4 - 135 plain has been the best experience for me personally with Copics.

Also please please please use COPIC MULTILINERS when inking with copics for anyone trying copics for the first time. Microns WILL bleed. Also when using a newly purchased copic marker make sure you use a scrap piece to make sure too much doesn't push out immediately. It can happen from time to time.
