Today's Throwback Thursday goes to the Under Armour Spotlight Pro which featured a lace cover with a zipper, and JayMike will tell what was up with this rather unorthodox football boot from New Balance. And no, we haven't seen football boots with zippers since... Probably with good reason.

The new lace less shoes are hard as crap to get on. The zipper is a great idea. The only thing I would change is that I would put the zipper in the back. When you unzip it, you slide your foot in like a slipper, then zip up and you will still have a seamless upper since the zipper will be in the back
