This was fun doing some ridge top backpacking. We was on an off trail out on Auxier Ridge in the Red River Gorge.

Beautiful scenery and I’m glad your foot has healed! I never understand why people pick up the dog poop then leave the bag. Maybe they will pick them up on the way back? Never trust the weather reports. lol. I was thinking of trying the trqiltopia meals.

I really enjoy quick overnight backpacks. I wished I could do more of them, but I usually save my time for longer trips.
What an awesome camping spot.
I'll be headed south in a few weeks. I can't wait for some of that southern hospitality.

It is nice to hike with a 0% chance of rain, heh. I prefer an overnighter. Trailtopia has good desserts, but I am not fond of most of their meals-they need hot sauce....lots....

I spent last week backpacking Minister Creek and Oil Creek in PA. That moon was crazy. Peak leaves and prime temperatures, perfect for hiking .

Thank you for addressing the poo bag issue! People are so nasty. I love going out for overnighters, and really any sort of stay. Any time spent in the mountains is good to me! I don't care for Trailtopia meals. Dolly is such a cutie! Great setup! 😁💚👊
