I walked that square in 1995 when it first opened up, it was so modern and there was nothing like it, i think it was the next level change of transforming Bali to mass tourism

They work fast in Bali. What a great job it looks fresh and new again. It is very different to the old Kuta but I guess change has to happen. Everyone hated the wooden boxes when they first arrived on the beach, now it’s seems normal. I agree the view from Grand Inna will be disappointing now though.
