Pineapple Upside down Cake Simple and Easy

Today I'll showing you guys how to make a pineapple upside down cake, this cake is very beginner friendly so if it's your first time making a cake try this pineapple cake it's easy with just a few steps and did I mention its very delicious with a little gooey topping you won't stop licking you fork lol.

An upside-down cake is a cake that is baked in a single pan with its toppings at the bottom of the pan, hence “upside-down”. Then, when removed from the oven, the upside-down preparation is de-panned onto a serving plate, thus righting it, and serving it right-side up

Topping Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
8 pineapple slices
about 8 cherries

Cake
1/2 cup unsalted
1 cup light brown sugar note* "dark brown works better"
2 large eggs
4 tbsp pineapple juice from the can
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

bake on 320 for 55 minutes

Thanks for the "easy" recipe. Its so easy you do not tell the viewer how much brown sugar you added to the butter and you did not tell us how much flour and baking powder, etc. to add. Its so easy, I should go out to the store and buy one. Good job.

I liked your recipe the most out of the ones I saw on YouTube but I would suggest doubling the base layer recipe so you have a taller cake portion. I'm gonna try it and see how it works
