Just wanna say at 0:48 when the defender was on his back, he could have went into a triangle choke and force the attacker into submission or could have done a leg sweep during that grapple match @ 1:22. I used to be an ATA student until my school relocated to the point where it was too far and reached 2nd degree by 4th grade. I am now out of it and starting to do some Amatuer MMA. Just offering some perspective onto this unlike being a keyboard warrior and posting my personal opinion about ATA.

i agree with most as a former ATA instructor and now MMA instructor/school owner the ATA need to stick to what they are good at and its not this by any means

That's just not true. Or maybe it is in some cases and/or places, but that's definitely not true for the whole Songahm system. I don't know how things work in the US (since I live in Sweden), but we have a lot of amazing instructors, masters, students and so on. People like Chief Master GK Lee are true martial artists. He could destroy anyone. Just sayin'

I could beat all of these guys in an MMA fight. I have a WTF Black belt in Taekwondo as well, 2nd dan.

Lol the ATA is just waterdowned versions of martial arts. Once it hit the Olympics, the whole martial art has bee diluted. There are so many taekwondo places around me, that's a good or bad sign. Considering it's TKD it's a bad sign.

sorry this is pathetic i train in ata and grapple in good fight tornaments im only 17 and i can take both of these dudes. dont get me wrong im glad ata is startin to become more well rounded as an organization but they need somethin better than this.

dude plz no uniform this looks embarrassing..and take off the damn head / foot gear...its pointless it just keeps falling off...i actually train at an ATA studio so dont start hatin saying im against this whole thing..its a great idea it just needs to handled differently.
