Saw 'Nun' movie as Halloween coming up, very hard hitting Deep Bass on the OSD Trevoce 12s. Aquaman 2 also sounds good.

Joe N Tell reviewed the OSD Trevoce 12 about 4 years ago he said it's a SPL subwoofer made for high decibels, Not made for Low Frequency. But he got 20 HZ using external DSP. The $299 RSL Speedwoofer 10e or 10" is 28 HZ so any decent 15" should be 18 HZ usable all the time for movies and music. The RSL 12" is 16 HZ and Monolith 10" ported is 16 HZ. But these are not budget type subwoofers but higher quality types.

DIY Subs seem best these days. Prices are way less building your own using Plate amplifier and box kits. But for Sealed subs ready to go the 17" industry getting Hot from Starke Sub5 to SVS 17". Big Power.

My OSD Trevoce 12 was definitely problems or headaches getting it to perform good, but it was the 'Break-In' process or you need to break it in 100 hours plus took me 3 months. Became good but now it's awesome Beast Mode from the new Sony 4K blu-ray player which is Way Better Audio Output to my Onkyo receiver which is making the Subwoofer hit Harder, Deeper bass.

Looks like OSD has a ported 15” version that retained the DSP feature (FS15). Thinking about getting it if they run a good sale. For $650 though, I’d opt to pay a bit more for a RSL 12S.

Z Reviews gave this sub such a stellar review, which had me thinking about trying the 12" version, but after reading the Amazon reviews and now watching your video, ima stick with Monoprice.

if you do open that guy up, wonder if you can add some mass the the PR's. It might help pull the peaks down and control the low end a little.

The OSD FS15(one I told you to review 6 months ago) is now $699 and Trevoce 15 is $699 too, looks like they Dropped $100 off the price.

i would like to see you test 15hz max output, then 20, 30 40 50 60.
then we know what the subwoofer can do with eq applied.
then listen with eq and how does it sound now, is the sound quality still behind.

Saw Conjuring part 1 on Halloween weekend. OSD Trevoce 12s was hitting super hard the last few scenes. Shook my big Slider Window or rattle noise.

Transformers 'Age of Extinction' hitting way better like 2-3 times better with Super Deep bass now that my OSD Trevoce 12's are past the Break-In cycle. Even Mad Max Fury Road sounds awesome. Saw 'Godzilla' with my Onkyo subwoofer crossover at 40 HZ and LFE Off, was crazy shake the house bass.

My OSD Trevoce 12 sounds good with volume knob at 60-70% clean harder hitting bass. Must be the 375 Watts RMS so have to go past 50% to make the woofers move. Neighbor noticed too but he not said anything to me.

With my Onkyo subwoofer crossover at 40HZ and the LFE set to Off, my OSD Trevoce 12 sounds good watching Godzilla & Kong (serious bass movies). Most movies just 50HZ is best. With LFE you can't go under 80HZ so you will need DSP adjustments. It's only $60 for the Dayton Audio external DSP.

Problem is either you need to Break them in many hours playing lower volume, Or you just got unlucky buying it when the quality may have changed, but you said it's loud and bumps. I got really nice quality bass, But I know the Amplifier can be Way Cleaner, noises. That's why I never read about it like some say, "Class D amplifier" etc. nothing about the amplifier except the Watts RMS. For $800 you should get Quality Amplifier

Zach Snyder's Justice League is the absolute Best movie for my OSD Trevoce 12s. The Quality of bass but Biggest reason is the 3 Woofers working together to the movie sound effects is pure Awesomeness. It's Dolby Atmos Blu-ray.
