I was in London for both games. Regarding Cardinals events, what Seth said is true. There were fewer Cardinals-sponsored fan events. The Cubs had a bar about 2 minutes from Parliament. The fan demographic was about 70/30 Cubs. That was for both American and British fans. Also, I did not see Cardinals ownership in London, but I did see Manfred and a couple of Cardinals legends. They could have been there, but it wouldn't shock me if they weren't. I know Bill DeWitt Jr. is based in Cincinnati, but DeWitt III is supposed to be in STL. So, there is truth to fan access to ownership being limited in recent times.

"Just trying to fill seats"? In the last 23 seasons, the Cardinals have reached the playoffs 16 times, NLCS 10 times, World Series 4 times (winning 2) and only had ONE losing season prior to this year. The last two times St. Louis finished last was 1990 and 1918.

Questioning fan support is silly too. Look at attendance every year. The Cardinals are always near the top, usually with teams in much larger markets.

O'Neill is rehabbing in Memphis. He went 1 for 3 with a double a few days ago. I may be in the minority but I think it's time to move on from Marmol (his handling of O'Neil and Contrares and
consistantly moving the lineup around. Is this the new thing in baseball?) and definately Mozeliak. Wish we could bring back Schidt from the Padres. Being in the NL central there is still a chance but they need to make changes now! O'Neill and Dejong have had one good year but seem to be injured too much. Trade both, along with Hicks and Flaherty and pick up a REAL #1 starter. Walker (will be a star) and Gorman are fine. We need

Please sell a pitcher to my beloved Rangers. They just need a starter and some bullpen help and World Series here we come. I put a future on them near the beginning when their bats were on fire. Bats are decent but their flaws are showing. Botchy ball all the way!
