The mountain and lake at the beginning of the video is Salmon Arm B.C. my home town. I drove 6 hours to Calgary to see them. I talked to Eliot after the show and we talked about the town :)

Worked a road crew in Saskatchewan in 2005 and this was our go to drinking song. We flew the jolly roger all summer on our micro-surfacing machine but our pirate days were over when the river started to freeze.

Saskatchewanian here. This song always confused me as a kid. We aint really got no “mighty shores” around here. Still, amazing to see you guys cover it. Ya’ll gotta come back to stoon some time. I couldn’t make it last time ya stopped by. Been a big fan of yours ever since Back Through Time! Keep up the great work!
