If you look at Alice Guo’s previous hearings, she maintained a calm demeanor throughout because she expected the inquiries related to POGO already. Since POGO had been exposed since last year of 2023 and even way before that, she prepared herself to answer everything confidently and even memorized her script (if you see the earlier hearings)

However, in a recent hearing in the Philippines, her reaction was notably different—she appeared very defensive. This change is likely because she didn’t expect these new developments to surface so soon, or at all, and she was unprepared to address them. As a result, it disrupted her persona and broke out her character.

In earlier hearings, when asked if she was a spy, there were only baseless allegations. It’s very generic to say that you’re a spy without further claims. So, she managed to stay calm while denying it. Now, with more definitive and detailed allegations emerging about her potential involvement as a Chinese spy, it clearly impacted her. This became especially apparent when they brought up her old house in Fujian, a place tied to her earliest memories before moving to the Philippines, which made her visibly emotional.

Part of her reaction also seemed rooted in frustration—anger over what’s unfolding and the gravity of the situation. If the spy allegations are proven true, it could lead to serious legal consequences for her.

Alice, we the people have " THE RIGHT NOT TO BELIEVE YOU " in the same way that " YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT".
