Imagine if in the 1960s John Lennon punched someone, and they decided to replace all of the Beatles. They picked a bunch of talented musicians, and all the sound engineers and producers stayed, but it just isn't going to be as good. It might be pretty good as its own thing, but it's still called The Beatles and is trying to sound like them. That makes it seem worse than it is, as it's constantly trying to be the old group and succeed in the same way.

As a car show this is equally good as the old show. They are not as funny, but the car part is really good. I mainly come for the cars. And if Chris Evans just manages to not scream my ears out, it's very livable and therefore receives a deserved upvote from me.

I think just disliking is pointless because the content is still good, but the show would be 10x better without Evans, Schmitz and Jordan.
